INTUR starts calling for Sixth Edition Christmas Meals

On Thursday November 20 INTUR start in Little Corn Island departmental and regional competitions holiday meals in its Sixth Edition, which is open to all mothers aunts, grandmothers or parents who like to cook, Comrade Daniel reported Sanchez, Promotion and Marketing officer INTUR

 The competitions continue on Friday November 21 departments in Masaya, Matagalpa, Jinotega and Carazo, extending Saturday 22 to Chinandega. Sanchez said that on Sunday 23 culinary event will take place in Rio San Juan and 28 November in the departments of Rivas, Granada, and Managua Chontales, the latter in Puerto Salvador Allende.

 The cooking contest will continue on November 29 in Waspan Autonomous Region of the Southern Caribbean, the same day the delegations INTUR in the departments of Nueva Segovia, Estelí and León, develop their respective competitions holiday meals. Madriz boaco and departmental competitions close on Friday December 5th.

 Winners of first place in the departmental and regional competitions will be the participants in the national contest to be held Christmas Meals in Puerto Salvador Allende on Saturday December 20th. What is the government of President Daniel Ortega, Sanchez said, is to keep the culinary traditions of our grandmothers and Nicaraguan cuisine, which is part of our cultural identity.

 All persons wishing to participate in these contests must register INTUR delegations in each of the departments and Autonomous Regions of the Caribbean Coast.

 Cash prizes for departmental competitions are seven thousand Cordoba for the first five thousand for the second and three thousand for the third. As for the national contest of holiday meals will first place prize 35,000 cords, 25,000 for the second and 15,000 for the third. As part of these culinary competitions INTUR also perform a varied cultural magazine.
