Open Call for Designs Nicaragua 2014
The third edition of Design Nicaragua today opened its call for creative photography in different discipline , contemporary crafts , footwear, accessories , food , visual arts, video production, fashion design, among others.
Director of National Promotion of the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism ''INTUR'', Ana Carolina Garcia, argued that the call will be open two months in which applicants can prepare their material. Garcia said that this year will be the Design Nicaragua on October 4th and 5th at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center .
During these months ' follow-up will be given to participants to ensure that jobs are to present quality , "said the designer Shantall Lacayo, the organizing committee .
Lacayo said this year it was decided to give more time for the call to encourage new talent in all artistic areas.
This year's event will consider include lectures and seminars with national and international designers.
Nicaragua Design is a cultural platform created by Designs Shantall Lacayo, INTUR and to promote local talent in various artistic disciplines with a view to export and sales of local products abroad.
