Successful Challenge San Cristobal in commemoration of World Tourism Day.

The Nicaraguan Tourism Institute in Chinandega, Nicaragua immersed in Campaign 2014 child performed in salute to World Tourism Day "Extreme Challenge San Cristobal" in which more than 500 participants from the private sector participated, the Community of La Bolsa, the National police and the Red Cross among others, who joined family and community willing to walk rediscover the majestic highest volcano in Nicaragua with a thousand 745 meters above the sea, the San Cristobal volcano. 

In San Cristóbal Challenge participants braved the adventure, traveled over 10 kilometers between all-weather road and trails in the foothills of the San Cristobal volcano site that is part of the Colonial Route and Volcano that supported by the European Union INTUR drives through a series of projects aimed at developing the Community and Rural tourism. .

Third place went to John Michael Menendez USA, and won a cell, a medal, and a certificate of consumption c $ 500.00 in bar Cañita. 

The first woman to reach the summit was Cony Villalobos, Matagalpa, and was given a medal and a certificate of coffee consumption in the Balconies. 

In the Community Exchange, a place to start and finish a mini cruise fair consumer products and food by the locals was performed. The proceeds collected by the registration and sales where the competition began, was to benefit the nursing home "Fray Francisco Dominguez" in the city of Chinandega.
