Fishing tournament held in Rio San Juan

The Guatemalan Luis Franco won first place at the 54th International Fishing Tournament, held in Rio San Juan during the Fiestas Patrias.
Franco amassed 50 points with two tarpon in the new tournament mode release and zoom to protect the species.
The second and third place obtained Eduard Costa Ricans and Mauricio Elizondo Valverde Rodriguez Morice, respectively.
Between 13 and 14 September, with their boats and fishing gear, 134 fishing waters delved Nicaragua San Juan and Grand Lake Cocibolca, including 54 Costa Ricans, Nicaraguans 42, 16 Americans, 13 Guatemalans, four Honduran three river Mexicans, one from New Zealand and a Salvadoran.
The fishing tournament ended with a party at the San Carlos Tourist boardwalk and awarding the top three real shad, croaker, sea bass, machaca, marsh and gaspar.
The award was given by Mayor Johnny Gutierrez; Intur delegate, Mirna Aguilar; Chief of Police commissioner Julian Lumbí, and Ivan Solorzano, a sponsor of the event.
In snorer was awarded the Costa Rican José Berrocal Ugalde, with 3.80 pounds.
In sea bass, the first place went to Fernando Tico Morice, with 16.05 pounds.
Only a Nicaraguan won a prize in the fishing tournament and was the Moses somoteño Soriano, with the first and only place in the gaspar species, weighing 33.12 pounds.
In machaca won first and second place Donovan Costa Rican Enrique areas with species of 5.70 and 3.10 pounds. And in the first and second Marsh won the tico Mainor Jara, with 5.00 and 4.96 pounds, and the third scored Rafael Altizar with 4.05 pounds, also Costa Rica.
