With the aim to improve care for domestic and foreign tourists, the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute (INTUR) in coordination with the Tourist Police began the unification of the training at the National Police as themes tourism security and detection of criminal activities including sexual exploitation, trafficking in children @ s and early detection when a person has been treated. 



These trainings aim to prepare the National Police in the tourist offer and destinations that Nicaragua offers visitors. 

 INTUR and National Police also have emergency line 101, in order to meet domestic and foreign tourists when they face a problem or need information on location somewhere or point of interest. The 101 is staffed by bilingual police officers 24 hours a day.
