The Seventh Aquatic Carnival of San Carlos, capital of the department of Rio San Juan, will take place on 13 October in the framework of the conference "October Victorious".

The date was chosen because on that day the anniversary of the heroic deeds of the assault to the barracks of San Carlos in 1977 recalled, said the mayor, Jhonny Gutiérrez, the FSLN, means the Power of Families and Communities.
As above said, the theater will help promote the natural beauty of the region and promote tourism.

In the six municipalities of Rio San Juan crafts fairs and other productions that will be presented will be made, there will be food tastings, which will help stimulate the local economy.
It is expected that twenty colorful and ornate parade floats floating down the river in front of the Malecon in the city, located in the southeast end of Lake Nicaragua, where the San Juan River begins, the largest river in Central America. The floats are followed in the watercourse by countless smaller boats.
