Apanas Cycling Race
Successful cycling race around Lake Apanás, Jinotega.
The delegation of Nicaraguan Tourism Institute INTUR in Jinotega, the Cycling Club and the city of Jinotega Citizen Power, in partnership with private enterprise, organized the "Race MTB Tour Apanás Lake, Jinotega 2014," which was performed by category 4 exit points. Free Category is the leading career where all who participated were challenged to travel the 80 kilometers. They toured the shores of Lake Apanás until returning to the starting point in the Otto Town Park City Jinotega resulting winner Denis Alfredo Chavarria.
In the Youth Category, youth participated between the ages of 16 to 21 years, for them the race was shorter because they were ordered out of the competition Apanás Tour Lake community of Asturias.
In this Fifth Competition Cycling Walking lakeshore Apanás also involved children, teens and the categories male and female master who made a shorter tour but enjoyed the scenery and camaraderie jinotegano participants.
Alberto Bucardo, head of the race, said he was satisfied with the organization of this fifth edition of the Carrera mountain bike Apanás - Jinotega, because more and more people participate in this healthy sport.
Meanwhile, Otto Gonzalez, chief of INTUR-Jinotega, said the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism promotes this activity as part of the Green Tour which includes Apanás Lake and all the attractions of the surrounding area.
Participants reported being satisfied with the effort, and that cycling gives them the opportunity to exercise and explore the scenic beauty that has this tourist route around Lake Apanás.
