President of the Ministry of Tourism Mayra Salinas, pointed out that there were over 220 athletes from 28 countries in both the form and the Paddle Paddleboard mode.participating in the tournament.Lots of competitors from different parts of the world like Canada, United States of America, Central and South America, were part of the first World Standup Paddle and Paddleboard Championship, from  May 3rd to May 11th, Nicaragua 2014.
