Joy for Life Carnival, a real success again...
Authorities reward winning troupes of Carnival Joy for Life.
This passed weekend, Saturday 17th of May 2014, the organizing committee of the XIII Edition of the Carnival Joy for Life , made the awards and departmental capital's five troupes , among these traditional groups that participated in this event waste of culture and traditions.
This time the groups were 20 , dances and traditional groups that embellished the Avenida Bolivar to Chavez with music , colors , movements and specific to each department and capital districts joy.
Throughout the parade highlighted the creativity , excellent scenery , best costumes and movements of the groups that were winners of one thousand dollars each as September 14th , Rosendo Lopez, Real Unión de Rivas , El Ballet Macehualt and Traditionalist Leon .
During this event the participation of the Queen of Carnival are also rewarded and gave recognition to all the top 20 groups that participated with great devotion and creativity.
The Mayor of the district capital , Deysi Torres , said the participation of the capital attending the carnival in an environment of peace, security and harmony of Nicaraguans themselves .
" Part of that better life is to enjoy in peace and quiet joy moments like these, where the National Police is present , the Red Cross , Fire, youth are ensuring that children enjoy very quiet moments ," Torres said.
Jairo Arista Bolaños , director of the troupe of Masaya , said he chose to highlight elements like the cries of the City of Flowers , crafts and dance artisans , allowing preserve the culture and national identity.
